Accessibility
Last updated: November 1, 2026
We want everyone to be able to learn to keep the Qur’an with MyDugsi, including people who use screen readers, larger text, a keyboard or other assistive technology.
What we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA on mydugsi.org, and to follow Apple’s and Google’s accessibility guidance in the apps.
Known limits
- Arabic text read aloud by screen readers depends on your device’s Arabic voice, which may not pronounce Qur’anic text correctly. Use the recitation buttons for correct pronunciation.
- Some recitation audio comes from outside providers and does not have written transcripts beyond the verse text and translation shown on screen.
Tell us about a problem
If something is hard or impossible to use, email support@mydugsi.org with the page or screen, your device, and the assistive technology you use. We aim to reply within 5 business days and to fix problems as quickly as we can.
